This Policy operates with the Terms of Use. On matters of use, the Terms of Use control; on matters of personal data, this Policy controls. Using the Website or submitting the contact form signals acceptance of the practices below. A Correspondent who does not accept them should not use the Website.

01Scope

Blackbox Digital LLC is a digital marketing agency organised under the laws of the State of Florida, United States. This Privacy Policy applies to the agency’s website at blackboxdigital.online (the “Website”) and explains, for anyone who visits it or reaches the agency through it, what personal data is collected, why it is held, who it reaches, how long it survives, and what control the individual retains.

In this Policy, “the agency,” “we,” and “us” mean Blackbox Digital LLC. A “Correspondent” is any person who visits the Website, browses it, or submits the contact form. This Policy governs the Website alone; personal data processed during a live client engagement is handled under the separate agreement covering that engagement.

02Controller

The party accountable for personal data collected through the Website is:

Blackbox Digital LLC
300 W Adams St Ste 550
Jacksonville, Florida 32202
United States
Email: support@blackboxdigital.online

Every privacy matter — a query, a request, a complaint — should be addressed to support@blackboxdigital.online.

03Eligibility

The Website is directed to businesses and professionals and is intended for adults. The agency does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under sixteen (16), and — in line with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), 15 U.S.C. §§ 6501–6506 — takes particular care to collect none from a child under thirteen (13). Any such data identified is deleted without delay; report a concern to support@blackboxdigital.online.

04Data We Collect

Provided directly

When a Correspondent completes the contact form, the agency receives a name, an email address, and whatever the message contains — typically the outline of a project and how to reply. Only what is entered is captured.

Collected automatically

Each visit produces technical data: an IP address and the approximate region behind it, browser and device characteristics, the pages viewed and time spent, and the referring source. This supports operation, security, and traffic analysis, and is read in aggregate rather than as an individual profile.

Cookies

Cookies and analytics operate on the Website; their function and the available controls appear in the Cookies section.

Not collected

The Website does not collect payment credentials, financial-account details, government identifiers, or special-category data. If information of that kind reaches the agency inside a message, it is used solely to respond and is not retained.

05Purposes and Legal Bases

Responding

Contact-form data is used to review an enquiry, judge fit, and reply, and — where an engagement follows — to carry that exchange into the agreement that is signed.

Operating the Website

Technical and analytics data maintains performance, diagnoses faults, guards against abuse, and shows which content is useful.

Legal and security

Data may be processed to secure the Website, enforce the agency’s agreements, establish or defend legal claims, and satisfy applicable law.

Bases for EEA, UK, and Swiss visitors

The bases relied upon are legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, operating and securing the Website, improving content, where proportionate); steps taken at the visitor’s request before a possible engagement; and legal obligation where it applies. Objection to processing founded on legitimate interests is addressed in the Rights section.

06Disclosure

The agency does not sell, rent, or trade personal data. It is disclosed only as follows:

  • to service providers that operate the Website — hosting, email, analytics, form processing — under contracts confining them to that function;
  • to professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, under their duties of confidence;
  • to courts, regulators, or law enforcement where law or valid legal process requires it, or where necessary to protect rights or safety; and
  • with the business, if Blackbox Digital LLC is subject to a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer — with notice where such a change materially affects how data is handled.

07Cookies

Essential

Required for the Website to function, covering session handling and security; these cannot be disabled without affecting operation.

Analytics

Used to understand visitor behaviour in aggregate. These do not identify the individual, and where applicable law requires it, consent is obtained before any non-essential cookie is placed.

Control

Cookies may be reviewed, blocked, or cleared through the browser at any time; disabling analytics cookies does not prevent reading the Website or using the contact form. No common standard governs browser Do Not Track signals, so the Website does not currently respond to them.

08Retention

Enquiry data is held for as long as needed to respond and, where a relationship develops, for its duration plus a reasonable period for records. Technical and analytics data is held for a limited window — generally not exceeding thirteen (13) months — before deletion or anonymisation. Data bearing on a legal matter is held until that matter concludes.

09Security

The agency applies reasonable technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, access limited to authorised personnel, and periodic review. No internet-connected system is perfectly secure; where a breach triggers a notification duty under applicable law, affected individuals and the relevant authorities are notified within the required timeframe.

10Your Rights

Rights depend on residence. In summary:

California

Under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, a resident may request access, deletion, and correction, and opt out of any sale or sharing, without detriment for doing so. The agency collects a narrow set of data here — contact-form submissions and analytics identifiers — and does not sell or share personal information as the statute defines those terms. Requests go to support@blackboxdigital.online with the subject line “California Privacy Rights”; a response follows within forty-five (45) days.

Nevada

A resident may direct the agency not to sell covered information under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A, at support@blackboxdigital.online. No such sales occur.

Other U.S. states

Residents of Florida, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may hold rights to access, correct, delete, and port data, and to opt out of targeted advertising or data sales. Requests go to support@blackboxdigital.online.

EEA, UK, and Switzerland

Where GDPR, UK GDPR, or Swiss law applies, the individual holds rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Contact support@blackboxdigital.online; a response follows within one month. A complaint may also be lodged with the local supervisory authority.

Canada

Where PIPEDA or a provincial law applies, an individual may access and correct data and withdraw consent, at support@blackboxdigital.online.

11International Transfers

The agency operates from the United States. Access from outside the United States results in personal data being transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection standards may differ from those in the visitor’s home country. Where an international framework independently requires specific safeguards for such a transfer, appropriate mechanisms are applied to the extent that framework governs.

12Further Notes

Third-party links. The Website may link to external sites the agency does not control; it is not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.

Scope. Blackbox Digital LLC operates under U.S. and Florida law, and references to non-U.S. frameworks apply only where those frameworks independently govern.

Accessibility. The agency aims to keep this Policy and the Website accessible, consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act; report a barrier to support@blackboxdigital.online.

Updates. This Policy may be revised, with the current version posted at blackboxdigital.online under a fresh Effective Date; continued use after a revision is acceptance.
